The Incredibles Have a New Member: The DROID Incredible

Verizon Wireless announced today that the shipment date of the DROID Incredible will be pushed back from its April 29th date to May 5th “due to high demand.” And rightly so! The DROID Incredible lays the smack down on other DROIDs to date. Some of its notable super powers include a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, Adobe Flash 10.1, and an 8 megapixel camera. Running the Android 2.1 OS and HTC’s Sense user interface, multi-tasking is made easy and speedy especially on its 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touch screen. Though the display is basically the same as the Nexus One, the rest of this phone sports a sexy soft tiered casing, providing a nice grip without adding unnecessary thickness. The DROID Incredible definitely bears the traits of a smart phone but a bit more intelligent. Verizon Wireless’ mobile apps like NFL Mobile and Skype Mobile make its way to the Incredible along with the rest of the Android Market, offering a broad selection of applications for the user in need. Able to store 8GB internally, the Incredible carries a MicroSD slot offering a 32 GB compatible power-up. Priced at $199.99 with a two-year service agreement, the DROID Incredible gives the iPhone a well trained challenger.
